I have really been enjoying teaching yoga again after the three month hiatus. I missed being able to feel the energy of the group of people in front of me. Being able to harness that energy into a healing practice for all of us is so fulfilling. If you are having a rough day and just don’t think you can bring yourself to come to yoga, bring yourself. You may find it is exactly what you need. Surrounding yourself (at 6-9′ intervals) with like-minded people is healing in and of itself.
Sometimes I wonder where I would be without my yoga and meditation practices. Like many of you, I know that if I did both of those practices every day, my life would be infinitely better. I suppose if I ate salads every day and limited sugar, my life could also be better. But many days I just can’t. Sometimes I have a valid reason, other days not so much. Often I have to just stop and take my own advice and simply do what I can with what I have. I have learned to be okay with that. I can always start over…and so can you!
If yoga isn’t your thing and you need to work out, we have that, too! Annette has returned with a new schedule and new routines. She is at the studio on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. You can catch her virtual Saturday class, too! She posts these on FaceBook in her Zumba group. If you want access to the group, just send either of us a message!
We still have Spin Class and Kick Boxing too! Burn all the calories and build up some strength and stamina.
