Jeannette started practicing yoga in 1999 as a way to de-stress, stretch and work on her flexibility. After a few classes she knew that yoga could bring her the balance she was looking for, and compliment her training in martial arts. With continued training, it became clear that yoga was a gift she had to share with others! Jeannette received her instructor training and certification through SolaLuna Yoga in Oberlin, Ohio in 2011. Teaching yoga brings her great happiness knowing she can help others reduce stress in their lives, relax their bodies and calm their minds. Finding and sharing the mind, body, spirit connection in an environment that is light and fun is how she approaches her teaching. She brings this same approach to her Fitness, Cardio Kickboxing and Spin classes. Her students range from pre-schoolers to senior citizens. Her certifications include Yoga, Chair Yoga, Group Exercise, Active Older Adult Fitness and Yoga, Cardio Kickboxing, Master of Taekwondo, Hapkido and Reiki Level II.

In addition to owning LaGrange Yoga, she and her husband own Tiger Martial Arts Academy in LaGrange, Ohio where she teaches Taekwondo. She has studied under Grandmaster William T. Norton (formerly of Norton’s Martial Arts) since 1998. She currently holds a Master Level Fifth Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and also has a Third Degree Black Belt in Hapkido. When not at LaGrange Yoga and Tiger Martial Arts, Jeannette also teaches Yoga for the Employee Wellness Program at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems in Elyria, Ohio as well as Yoga and Taekwondo for the students at The Child Garden Child Care and Learning Centers in LaGrange, Grafton and Oberlin, Ohio.
