Now, maybe even more than ever, our lives are so unknown. One minute we are being told one thing, and the next, something changes. Keeping up with life these days is hard. But, what can make it easier is taking a step back. Take a step back, and take a moment for yourself. It’s always been said that in order to take care of others, you must take care of yourself FIRST – and that is so true right now. With all the “noise” going on around it, take a moment for yourself. Head to the park, minus your cell phone, or if you do have your cell phone, listen to soothing sounds. Didn’t make it to the ocean or beach this summer? That’s okay because here in Lorain County, we have beautiful Lake Erie – and have you witnessed a sunset over the lake? Oh, you have GOT TO GET OUT
THERE! Spending time outside now (with social distance measures in place, of course) can really have a calming effect — even listening to the rain is soothing!
And, in my world now, our form of serenity is watching our kitten, Jet. He is something else friends! He makes my husband and I laugh all the time – he rolls around, jumps at his shadow, chases the dog’s leash (while it is on the dog) and plays with TP rolls! He is a hoot!
And, if you feel the need to come together with like-minds wanting serenity – we have you covered at LaGrange Yoga!
Join Guided Meditation IN THE PARK with Heather!
And, just a friendly reminder that ALL ZUMBA classes are virtual through August!
