As the school year begins for your kiddos … for the first time EVER … you may have time for yourself either in the early morning hours or evening time.
If you are looking for a way to destress from your (maybe) stressful/chaotic summer, come see what LaGrange Yoga has to offer! So many times I talk to parents who seem to be running around in circles. They are taking their kids to school, practice or wherever they need to go. It’s OK to stop and take care of yourself too! You are MOST important because if you are not taking care of yourself, how are you supposed to care for others? Many of our classes are early in the morning – right after school begins at 9 or 9:30 a.m. and several of our classes fall in the evening hours – so why not drop your kiddo off at practice and then head over for some TLC for YOU?
Be sure to check out our new classes/calendar that will be posted soon!
Until next time … Namaste, Jeannette
my lesson plans from one of my many folders, or I will see something on line that inspires me or I will go full out and plan out every single pose. On Monday, the consensus seemed to be, “can we just lay in savasana?” Often times that is just what the body needs! We did a brief warm up followed by a few yin poses, getting deep into the connective tissue and the we did several restorative poses, just letting go into the support of a bolster. We had a 15 minute savasana with hands on adjustments for legs, shoulders and head. It was pretty darn relaxing. Thank you all for trusting me.
